What does DebtApp do?

Keep private records of money people owe you (receivables) and money you owe others (payables). Add contacts without inviting them to register. EUR is the default currency; balances in different currencies are kept separate.

Repayments and direct settlements

A repayment reduces one debt. A direct settlement records that someone who owes you paid someone you owe. Both sides are reduced together, starting with the earliest due debts. This is a manual record, not a payment service. You cannot settle more than either outstanding balance or mix currencies.

Correcting a mistake

Reverse the relevant operation with a reason. Reversal restores the entire settlement, not just one side, and preserves history. Contacts can be archived. Use account deletion only if you want to remove your entire private account.

Deadlines

Set your timezone in account settings. Due dates are local calendar dates; a debt due today becomes overdue tomorrow in that timezone. Reminders go to your own account inbox, never to your contacts.

Verification and password reset

Email verification is required before recording financial changes. Verification and reset emails are sent from debtapp@edata.lt. Open the verification/reset link in your email. Reset links expire after 60 minutes and can be used once. A successful reset signs out existing app sessions. Google, Facebook and Apple login are currently unavailable.

Export or delete your account

Use account settings to export your records or delete your account after confirming your password. Deletion invalidates app tokens. For help, contact justas@pukys.lt. Never send your password or private sign-in links.
